Thomas Dudley is a leading UK manufacturer based in the heart of the West Midlands, delivering plastic moulding, innovative bathroom products and iron castings from their Dudley site on the prominent Birmingham New Road.
Part of their future vision for their growing company is to create a new build, three-storey block which will form a new mixed use space, bringing current facilities up-to-date. Currently in-situ is an old metal building, which will be partly demolished to make way for the new facility.
One of the challenges of the project is two existing mine shafts which are being drilled, grouted and filled with concrete slurry by a specialist drilling company following approval from the coal authority.
The new three storey steel frame building will house a new office, customer care centre and show room, with works inclusive of all on site infrastructure including retaining walls, roads, car parking and building services.
